The first custom sign I made is a STOP sign but the Thai version, as i am making a little Bangkok on my server.

I needed for my server to be able to have a full set of custom signs and advert or other type of display image that i could repetedly put in specific spots on the map of my server. I didn't want to use any plugin or mod that people would need to use too, to be able to see the custom pictures. Because of the large choice of images i wanted, it was not suitable to use a texture pack.... So I had some brainstorm after googling for a solution... And I came up with something..... My advise for those playing locally: have part of your world, far away reserved for the pictures area. For those playing on a server like me, I just use a flat map to create the pictures on it and use multiverse not to waste the main map. So everybody, grab your pixel art ideas  and start building it somewhere far from your playing space. You just need an empty map item,find a place and use the map item, when u got it place colored cubes at the edges of the map. There you go, you got a 128x 128 space to make some art. After you are done, recheck your map, and , voila. You got the picture. After that you can stick it in an item frame and use it anywhere you want.

I may probably not be the first one to come with this idea, but as i didn't find it during all my googling, i wanted to share it with you, just in case... And not sure either if Pixel Art is the right cat to post it... Feel free to submit a beeter category...
