Hi guys, I've been experimenting worldPainter and have found a way for you to make a earth map or europe, or a continent of your choice in one simple way, Please also like this so it can be known to other people who want t omake earth servers / earth maps :D

Please follow these steps! It requires no downloads, except for WorldPainter!

1. Open this link https://tangrams.github.io/heightmapper/#2.91667/40.61/32.49 <--- Link to the height maps from google maps, 100% works.

2. Look on your right and click "Export" for the png picture.

3. Download WorldPainter


4. Open World Painter, go to file and "Import" and import the png file. Then, you must select your own terrain and water levels. I suggest water level 1 just to see if the map works or not.

5. And there you go, your earth map is upon you!


I did some testing too, and if you look at it in 3d - its very mountainous. To fix this, I suggest world editing parts or using worldpainter to flatten regions out a bit. Have fun with this!
