Going big!
A bit disappointed by how small my cathedral ended up last time, I've settled on a larger build this time. This is gonna take quite a bit of time, but at least it's not gonna be small. I am not sure if I will add buildings around the structure as seen in the concept art, it depends on how I feel when I am done.
The building is inspired by this fantastic steampunky concept art by Gordillo of deviantart.com (No copyright infringement intended, I just draw inspiration from his drawing).
Texture pack used is Glimmar's Steampunk Texture Pack available here.
As last time, tell me what you think - am I headed down the wrong road already, or should I continue?

I've added a few new W.I.P pics. I am nearing halfway on the outer shell. It's gonna be a pain to do the interior though, especially figuring out how to light it all up. Random thought: should I add a bunch of underground piston contraptions to make steamy noises?
