The Hunger Games Taivas Map

Looking for a new, exciting HungerGames map for your server that comes up with some original ideas? Then search no longer!
The Taivas map, built for up to 32 players, consists of five big round floating islands. The middle one is the spawn island with eight chests and a diameter of 56 blocks. The other four floating around it are desert, tundra, forest and jungle themed with a diameter of 160 blocks. Four watchtowers mark the edges of the map.
Beacons have been spread all over the map a few of which grant the players abilities such as higher jumping or more speed. This makes hunting other players a lot more fun. Around 40 (empty) chests are ready to supply them. Watch your back though, you could easily be knocked off the island...
The Taivas map also has buildings and redstone systems. They may be time consuming and dangerous, even life-threathening, but their treasure can make the difference between victory and death.

If you want to run this map on your server I'd recommend to use the Bukkit plugin SurvivalGames. It'll automatically fill every last chest on the map and also help you set those 32 spawnpoints up.

Additional Notes

I built this map with my friend Drakoni13. She had the original idea and did the landscape while I was responsible for the redstone part and came up with a few other ideas.
The jungle houses, the two little towers in the forest and parts of the desert temple are also made by her.

The texturepack used for the screenshots is called DokuCraft High.
