This might be a weird question but if you still have the worldpainter file for this, what intensity did you use for the layer of those blue icy spikes/trees? I'm having trouble figuring out what setting i need to change to make it stop generating schematics so densely together.

I use a really light intensity like maybe 2% or 7%, any more then that and you run into problems, but it all depends on what your after.
