Welcome to Inferno Island! A burning, flaming hell-scape! Except where it isn't of course. Because of course, volcanic ash is a quite rich fertilizer. Lush forests and floral plains border a barren volcanically active plane of Obsidian, Lava, Fire, and Netherrack.

This is a great map for those looking to build with quarts early on in the game. Be careful about the lava, though, its everywhere. Play this map while you wait for the Nether Update to come officially, and don't want to generate the nether in the meantime, or don't feel like deleting their nether file just to generate the new biomes. I brought the Nether to the Overworld!

A few notes:
Has all the Ores underground! About 1.5x to make up for the fact the world is limited. See Map. If you sail into a wall, that's the edge of the world. There are places You'll find places with a high concentration of iron, gold, and coal ore on the surface. Brave the fiery burning plains and you might even find diamond ore! Also, you should never reasonably run out of coal, huge parts of the map are practically made of coal blocks.

Very easy living here, despite the Fire, Lava, and Magma. Lots of magma, tread carefully.
