Are you tired of those tacky torch lamps? Glowstone lamps too bulky? Then you need this ingenious lamp concept! Simply insert 2 fence on top of eachother, then place a Beacon. Beacon puts off as much light as a glowstone block, and looks more lamp like. then for added effect, put a slab on top.
