The goal of this project is to build the Lesser Ark from Halo 3 with
its own biomes; desert in the middle and gradually colder the further
out on the arms until it gets to be frozen ice plains. The main struggle
with this project is the time it takes to use MCEdit. The Ark has a
diameter of 1998 blocks and right now I have done some rough
tera-forming of the inner desert ring and have done a great deal in
completing the skeleton of one of the arms. This is not the first time I
have taken on a large project but it is the first time I have uploaded
one. Since the Ark is so large, I plan on using nether portals for
quicker transportation.
Right now I am focusing on the structure of
the ark as a whole as well as the biomes on it. However, once I am done
with that, I have other forerunner-like structures that can be added on.
(By the way, the Ark was built on the same map as another one of my
projects that is very rough, uncompleted and pretty far away but I'll
let you discover it yourself…)




Fun Fact: This project is
approximately 2km/95km size if we account each block in Minecraft as a
meter. So it's really small yet still pretty damn big.

Any tips and tricks are welcomed. Please comment on whether or not I should do the Nether World transport thing as well!
