This is one of my best creations - a beautiful display that showing all the characters you can type from keyboard. Each symbol transmits through a single wire by a binary code from keyboard to display. There is no mechanical parts like a pistons - only redstone, repeaters and my imagination. It can displaying up to 32 characters, the keyboard has a 48 character and 3 function keys. The system automatically tracks the position of the cursor, printing has never been so easy. Backspace button clears the screen.
You can also check out new project - Interactive printer with keyboard.
Click to reveal
Now you can use commands like /day, /night and /home. See a demo below.
It's time to new client.
You need a 1.4 version of Minecraft client to correct working.
How to install the map.
Place the "iMac" folder from the .zip to the "saves" folder in ".minecraft". There is also two .schematic flies in the archive, you can paste iMac on your server, if you want to. It's recommended to paste "keyboard.schematic" first.
Turn display off.
To do this, press the power button on the back of the case. And don't press keyboard buttons very quickly, otherwise keyboard may lock and you may have nasty bugs.
Enough of my bad English - just watch the video and download the map.
