Hallo alle zusammen!

Das ist das Weiße Schloss Iruna - mein Langzeitprojekt welches ich am 12.08.2015 startete.

Ich hoffe das Projekt wird noch dieses Jahr beendet - momentan seht ihr den Anfang der Schlossmitte, ferner möchte ich eine komplette Insel drum herum bauen. Aber wartet ab wie es irgendwann aussehen wird :)

Hi everyone!

This is Iruna the white castle - my longtimeproject. I started it on 12.08.2015

I hope to end it this year - actual you can see the first half of the middle castle, but in future I want to build a whole island around it.
But let's see, how it will look soon :)

Nice start, but too spammy with stairs, fences and slabs. Try making a megabuild using only solid blocks, no slabs stairs or fences. It should help you practise detailing techniques that don't require the build to be made up mostly of detailing blocks. as far as I can tell from the pictures, right now only the redstone and lapis blocks are solid, in addition to possibly coal or obsidian or black wool as the base structure block.
Try replacing the cobble walls with stone bricks, the quartz stairs and slabs with quartz blocks of various kinds. See what that gives you.

Thanks for your comment but I don't think that it's "spammy" It's much harder to use different blocks as only full blocks to build something what looks nice. Ever tryed to cover i.e. a hemisphere with stairs/slabs/buttons/etc. pp? With full blocks and some knowhow with worldedit its easy but for me no buildingskill. I don't want the easy way ;)
