Hey guys ! Today I bring you the first piece of my current project, the city of Isona ! But first, let me display some features of it.
Isona is a large cosmopolitan city that mixes both the tasteful architecture from past times with the modern and conceptual architecture. Full of life, colour, details and, of course, buildings. It contains 3 main districts: Egara, Argeler, and the City Centre (including the neighbourhoods of Catalunya and Barcelona). As you may see, the city will be influenced by european and american architecture, with an emphasis on Barcelona's unique buildings.
The main area I'm developing at the moment is the City Centre, which in the near future you will see its developement. This is the first city block that was ever finished, which includes 3 traditional houses and the Town Hall, currently the most important site in Isona.
Many of my buildings will be based on in real life buildings, especially those that are traditional, since I'm not very original with them, I must admit.
The Town Hall is my own version of the Leeds Town Hall, a very pretty building with a huge amount of detail, decorated with beautiful neoclassical columns and a big dome.
The other real building I tried to recreate is the Casa Llopis Bofill, an rather unknown jewel of modernisme (Catalan Art Nouveau) that can be found in the city of Barcelona.
You can join and see the city in the server Cubed Creative , IP: c.crpr.co , and doing /warp Isona.
The city is currently under developement, so you may see there aren't many buildings yet; but by joining you will be able to see what is coming next !
