ISS Profectus

The idea:

The ISS (International Spaceship) Profectus (Latin for advance) is not about the biggest guns or the most wings and other pointless stuff. Ito��s the try to build the most realistic future spaceship. Nearly every single part of the ship has its own meaning. The design with one closed body is the most likely way a spaceship will look like, if we look at the vehicles from the last years. All in all the ISS Profectus is the concept of a realistic ship, built around the year 2070.

The ship:

Whato��s the point of such a giant? The ISS Profectus is an research vessel, built by several Nations to get more information about our origin. Its mission is to educate new scientists, search for new Earth like planets and primitive extraterrestrial life. With a nuclear reactor and some other gadgets ito��s possible for the crew to survive for decades in space. Everything is about efficiency to make this possible.

The inside:

Inside of the ship are several residential interiors, laboratories, a huge storage, a giant super computer, a nuclear reactor, an artificial biotope to produce air and much more. Everything is built as economical as possible. For example there are as little as possible windows to save energy.

The mission:

As said the ship searches for life and Earth like planets. Only the best and the most promising scientists are allowed to go on its journey. It will be very dangerous but ito��s also the next giant leap for mankind.
