After a long break mostly due to life in general I finally started building again starting out with this. A 1:1 scale of the ULCC Jahre Viking. This ship started life as the tanker Oppama, it was then extended after the original design was found to be unsatisfactory. After the extension the ship was renamed Seawise Giant. In 1988 the ship was sunk during the Iraq-Iran war and was deemed a total loss. Despite this the ship was bought by Norman international and renamed Happy giant. Afterwards the ship was sold once again to Jørgen Jahre for 39million USD where it was renamed Jahre Viking.
Dimensions
Length: 458 Blocks
Width: 69 Blocks
Draught:24 blocks
This is my largest ship ever built. It also breaks off from my building style being a relatively modern ship. I still have a lot of things to do on it and a lot of details to do. Thanks for taking your time to look at this project and God bless.
