This project was and still is an aboslute blast, very happy with how it's turned out so far and looking forward to building an interior soon. The map the house sits on was custom made with worldpainter, the lake is located in the middle of a mountainous island featuring lots of vegetation. As for the house itself, after a lot of research on traditional Japanese houses 民家 (Minka) and learning about all the small things such as the 縁側 (Engawa), the corridor that wraps around the house and I can say that the house is actually quite accurate to a real Japanese house. Of course, thanks to the new update, cherry blossom trees were finally added! They have all been custom made and I really like how it has all turned out. In the garden, you can also find a small teahouse for tea ceremonies overlooking the pond and the garden, at the back of the house there is also a small shrine with a Torii gate.
