A map for the Just Enought Guns Mod modrinth.com/mod/just-enough-guns (Needs, Geckolib and Framework with it) In 1.20.1


Each round players get scrap to spend with Guns/Ammo/Armor/Enchantments etc.

First player to reach 15 wins is the winner


Currently only PvP and one map are available, but may add more maps and PvE in the future if there´s interest for it


I appreciate any feedback for features you´d like to see and balancing(As currently it´s likely some items may be too cheap/expensive for what they do)


Feel free to message me here or on discord(mrocelotcat) if you want to play it with me or share thoughts on the map




Currently i i don´t know if i can apply my specific settings configured to the world you download(for example explosion griefing is on so rockets can destroy blocks, guns have durability, which isnt the case in my version).


So can only think of you downloading my common configured settings and implementing it in your world somehow? Still asking around to know better myself

Excuse me what is the progress? Is everything alright? You had trouble packaging your jeg-common.toml in the map? Is it over? Did you go somewhere else after Migami discord sadly ignored you? What about reddit?

Hmm.. are there any sketches and plans on implementing PVE mobs?



By the way if you wanted to package the map along with the mods needed together as a modpack you can do that so that it is easier for people to install?







I can only show for curseforge but using curseforge as an example well.. here like so





When you export the modpack just remember to place your map inside "saves" and just click the tick at "saves"?





Now you click export and it is done, both the map and mods are inside together and you can easily link it to anyone who wants to use it along with your default map too because there might be people who use a normal Minecraft launcher.

Also I noticed that you zipped the Folder instead of the items inside the folder into a zipped folder? it made it so that the map was unreadable first.




Instead I think you should select all the items inside the map folder and then zip it instead?



I think you did this down here below right?:


It would have been bad if people had to rummage through the saves folder of the modpack if you were planning on doing that and extracting and moving all the files one directory up

Oh thanks a lot. For PvE i plan to implement the extensive mob mechanics JEG alredy provides, with few modifications here and there for balance. For providing the modpack i didn´t see the need since you just need 1 mod(curseforge for example autodownloads the dependencies for example)



Oh and yeah i could look into that zip thing

Like.. not really.. curseforge will only download the dependencies only if you were installing a mod using curseforge. Otherwise we need to download the dependencies ourselves (if using the default launcher like I used to until recently). Thankfully JEG only uses framework as an additional dependency. Like.. I don't think you uploaded this map to curseforge yet right? People will still need to go into folders to place the map inside.



If it was inside curseforge then anyone using a modded launcher should be able to easily install it that way to the profile instead of downloading and placing the folder for the map in "saves".



Turning it into a modpack just packages both the map and mod required and puts it all into an easily installable curseforge modpack that includes the map along with all the mods needed (just two in this case lol).



It is not a pain for someone familiar with opening minecraft's folders again and again like me, but I don't know about those unfamiliar.

Perhaps you can collab with him or something? If he answers that is.. I think you might find him in the timeless and classics discord. I think it's a better place to talk about these things than curseforge although I had spoke to him there and he did respond.

By the way uhm is there a way to get scraps? I could only get some from this recycler over here ._. Unless... hmm.. we start off with what the recycler has? and then after beating people up after each round.. we get more and more scraps right? That way we can get everything? Nevermind I can't trade the scraps I got from the recycler..



Oof.. I can't play the map alone..

By the way.. /teleport -127 74 -293 seems like a good place to teleport to for loners like me who need teleport to get here. lol..



By the way is there a chance for you to convert this map into Bedrock? for all the bedrock players who might want that? Since there are way more bedrock players than java players.. they might even want to play this map with their Gun addons..

I´ll check em out. Currently like i said only pvp mode avaible so u do need someone to start. Once someone wins and round ends everyone gets scrap to spend before starting next round
