How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

This terrain is an island surrounded by water, rising out of it with cliffs and beaches. Tall mountains cover its center, and jungle clings to the hilly terrain around it.

The resource pack used in the renders is Conquest_ By Monsterfish_. The programs used to create it all were worldpainter, worldmachine (for the brushes) and chunky (for the renders). Feel free to use the terrain in any of your own builds, servers, etc. as long as you give credit to me. :D

Being a terraformer myself, I can tell you that default Minecraft trees are ugly and you are better off with a custom tree pack.

Yes, I used to use some tree packs. I was looking into making my own though, but I was not able to find out any way to convert them to b02s. Is there any custom tree pack you reccomend using?

Does this map still look good without the resource pack, or did you just use a pack to enhance screenshots?

The trees are default trees, and no metadata was used in the cliffs, etc. I just used the pack in the pictures, and it would work just as well without. :) I do recomend the pack though, Conquest_ looks very nice.

I used worldmachine to make the brushes which I then used in worldpainter to paint the terrain. Chunky was used for the pictures. You can see the way I use worldpainter in the video. If you want to use any of these programs, you should find them with a simple google. ;)
