You spawn in a base tree with many supplies to start off with, including a map, a compass, 3 golden apples (like the 3 wishes tale, use 'em wisely!),tools, TONS of grass blocks (in the other chest) and more.
Your aim is to fill your block checklist altar (see image 3) on the 2nd floor of your base tree and build as many creations on the tops of trees as you can to earn points. There are several concepts below. You MUST read all of them before you play this map to learn how to play it.
Your aim is to build as many tree top creations as possible to earn points, however, you can only build them out of 8 different types of blocks. Diamond blocks, Gold blocks, Iron blocks, Lapis Lazuli blocks, Clay blocks, Nether bricks, Stone bricks and Birch wood (the white wood with black scar-like patterns on it). But you cannot mine for them yourself. There are 8 trees in the jungle that contain 1 type of treasure block each, both in the leaves and in the tree's chest, you must gather the treasure blocks from each tree, and fill up your block checklist altar on the 2nd floor of your base tree. Once you have found all the treasure trees and put 1 block of each treasure block on your block checklist altar, thus meaning your block checklist altar is full, then you can start building treetop creations to earn points.
The 8 treasure trees are in 1 direction each out of the 8 basic directions on the compass (N, S ,E ,W NE, NW ,SE ,SW) you need to get to each tree. You need to create a bridge out of grass blocks through the treetops while following the directions on your compass to get to each tree in each of the 8 directions.
WARNING!: You MUST note that the directions that the trees are in are NOT the directions according to your map (the world's ACTUAL directions) they are in the directions according to your compass so do NOT use your map as a reference for finding the directions of the trees, because you will get nowhere (or most likely really lost!). If you don't know your directions on your compass then check out the sign on the trunk of the base tree where there is a guide on compass directions. If that still gets you stuck on finding the treasure trees, then check out image 5 on this page for a guide on what your compass will look like when pointing to each treasure tree.
Once you are heading in the direction of one of the special trees, it will be easy to spot because the 8 treasure trees are odd-ones-out from the rest, because the treasure trees have other mini trees sprouting off them (see the odd-one-out treasure tree of South-West in image 4)
The block checklist altar (in image 3), is on the second floor of your base tree. Once you find a treasure tree, mine out all it's treasure blocks and take all the other treasure blocks out of it's chest, then head back to your base tree (via your grass block bridge you need to make to get to the tree) and put one block of your treasure block on it's respective pedestal on the block checklist altar. So that way you know that you have done that treasure tree and don't accidentally go back to it. Keep all the other blocks of that treasure block to build stuff with. Once your block checklist altar is full, you can start building stuff.
Once you have looted all the treasure trees and completely filled up your block checklist altar, then you can start building stuff on the tops of the trees to earn points. Each treasure block is worth points, each treasure block is worth a certain amount of points depending on it's value, the most valuable being 8pts and the least valuable being 1pt, you can check how many points each treasure block is worth underneath the block's name on it's sign on the block checklist altar.. When you build a creation, you get a certain amount of points depending on which block it is made out of (for example, a diamond block hut= 8pts because a diamond block is 8pts) you can also use a combination of several blocks in one creation, this would earn you more points, (for example, one nether brick and stone brick lighthouse=7pts because nether bricks are 4pts and stone bricks are 3pts.) The map storyline ends when you have run out of building treasure blocks to use. Submit a comment with your final score on this page to share it with others! You can only use the 8 treasure blocks to build stuff, however, there are some minecraft essentials mostly ones that are crucial to survive against monsters, (if playing on easy or above), you ARE allowed to use these essentials to help you survive (and give your creations a little bit of mob-proof safety or awesomeness). These essentials you are allowed to use. They are called "exceptions".
The exceptions to the rules that you ARE allowed to build with are:
Grass/dirt blocks, Glass/glass panes (but you need to gather sand yourself, furnace and coal are supplied for you), torches, doors, trapdoors, fences, fence gates, wood planks, crafting tables, furnaces, and chests. You can use these exceptions in your creations to make them mob-proof or more exciting, but exceptions do NOT give you any points.
