Kibitsu Shrine - 吉備津神社

Large scale build of a very unique Japanese shrine in Minecraft, striking features with an uncommon double gable roof. This is not a complete project as another part of the shrine which is the covered entrance is not built. The reason I decided to build this shrine is because the roof which is made out of cypress bark makes building a lot easier, the roof also looks very sharp and striking, the use of colors is captivating yet subtle, and the vertical-cut Chigis (X shaped ornaments on the roof) creates an interesting silhouette on the overall structure.
