This was my entry for the Kieler Förde Minecraft competition in September 2017. The competition ran for 6 weeks and by the end the map was full of amazing builds! I did not win but I got a fantastic commendation from the organisers, judges and the host Docm77.
Sadly, the little Jax of kimandjax passed away during the competition and I really struggled to complete the map after the event finished. It took me over a year before I could fly around the Cathedral and find it in my heart to finish building especially when every area and section had a memory assosiated with her.
TL:DR - Jax was my cat of 15 years so, as the remaining half of kimandjax I pushed myself to get to this moment and what you see is now my tribute to a faithful, quiet companion in life, and hers a tribute to me that continues in my minecraft name.
