Kingdom Wars
Kingdom Wars is a custom gamemode currently being developed by the BounceCraft team. The gamemode will feature a custom plugin and a map designed completely from scratch for this purpose only.

Storyline
Many hundreds of years ago, there were 3 holds across the whole of the continent of Varenfell, led by three fearsome leaders. The land that separated them contained untold treasure and unlimited wealth for whoever owned it. All three of the leaders longed for this land to be theirs, however they knew that if any one tried to take it, the other 2 holds would retaliate leading to a bloody war.
And so it was decided that the 3 leaders must meet: King Cerebus, King Azmuth and King Proteus all agreed on a treaty that the land between their holds would stay sacred and unowned. Any who broke this treaty would face the might of the opposing armies and would be outcast from the council of Varenfell, losing all trading links.
Years passed without any change. However, 43 years after the treaty was signed the three leaders had become more greedy than ever. They all began preparing for an attack to claim the sacred land and for the war that would surely ensue...

Gameplay
As mentioned above, there are 3 kingdoms that a new player has the option of joining. Once a kingdom has been chosen, the player may not change until the server is reset.
Each kingdom must build up their strength by aquiring points in the different areas:
Research
Defense
and Attack
These 3 types of points are grouped together to form the kingdoms total 'Power'. A kingdom can aquire 'Power' by capturing structures around the map such as farms, villages and mines. They can also aquire power by slaying members of other kingdoms, and attacking the enemies kingdom, although this will be heavily guarded.
Each of the areas gives a kingdom a boost depending on how many points they have in that specific area. For example:
Kingdoms with a high number of Research points will be able to research higher levels of equipment for their army to utilise.
Kingdoms with a high number of Defense points will have stronger defences in their kingdom and will be able to defend their captured structures more easily.
Kingdoms with a high number of Attack points will deal more damage to enemy structures and will be more equipped to attack the kingdoms themselves.
A game is won when a team has held a certain amount of 'Power' for a sustained period of time. After this point the kingdoms and map will be reset, allowing players to join different kingdoms and play over again.

With the planning stage complete, work has begun on the Kingdoms themselves. Currently we have decided upon having a Medieval Kingdom, a Roman Kingdom and an Egyptian Kingdom. Each will have its own Strengths and weaknesses and will have different building design.
