This is my small village of Leafveil which gave me the rank of Architect on the server I built this on.
I have also made a short cinematic showcasing the plot.
I built this on Ravand.org using the resource pack called Conquest.
If you are to join the server please use Minecraft, Conquest and optifine, 1.7.10, as the server uses metadata.

Lore of Leafveil

Leafveil, is a functioning little village in the midst Sydylt Forest. The village was settled down by the noble Fleney family a few hundred years ago, in a little groove surrounded by cliffs and a dense forest which kept it from exposure. In the little groove there was a small lake which emanated from a small waterfall in the groove. This waterfall was later named Forestsong Falls by the founding family. 
It is said that the elder of the noble family who is since long deceased, was on a journey through the forest when his carriage broke down, near the groove. The noble man was bored of waiting for his carriage to be repaired by his servants, so he wandered of in to the woods to do a bit of exporing while awaiting the repairs. It is uncertain how the noble stumbled upon the groove, but he was so amazed by the scene that he had to claim it as his own. This was the creation of Leafveil.

For centuries the village has been hidden away deep inside of Sydylt Forest. Not many wander to this village, the path that leads to it strays far from the main road, and the darkness fright the few that wander this way. However from time to time travelers do make their through the village, most of the times they have managed to get lost and come seeking refugee from the darkness that settles quickly over this part of the woods. 

The villagers speak no ill of the darkness that rests above the village, they do not fear it and are not harmed by it. The outside world is however another tale. Those of crooked intentions that wander near the village and its land, quickly learns of the danger of the curse. The minority of scoundrels that make their way out are changed for the rest of their life, those who do not get out face their fears by the Curse of Old Man Fleney. They say that when Old Man Fleney who founded this village passed away, he did not want to let go of his creation. Such the protective spirit of Fleney came to be. Old Man Fleney layed some sort of incantation before passing to the afterlife, which made his spirit linger on in the town. Forever protecting it and keeping it from harms way. That is why not many travel to the village, they are afraid that the spirit will think of them as wicked men and take them to his domain.
The Fleney family has a certain tradition to honor Old Man Fleney's spirit. Once a certain age is reached and they are considered as an elder man, they wander from the town at night and are never heard from again. It is said that they live the rest of their life on a little mountainpeek overlooking the village, keeping it safe until it is their turn to join Old Man Fleney.

Even though this wicked curse that some may call it, while others call it a protecive spirit. This village is a beautiful one that keeps living thanks to the location of the village. They manage to get almost everything they need from the land around them, but sometimes the villagers wander from the safety of Old Man Fleney's spirit and head through Sydylt Forest past the ruin of Gadleigh Keep that rest near the border of the forest, across the farmfields to the city of Oakenhold.
These is however a tale for another time.
