learning about redstone

Hello everyone, I wanted to upload this project to hopefully get a few redstone builders to help me out with a few creations, I have never been good at it and I really would like to get better, these redstone creations I'm not sure what they will be and I do need ideas. any advanced redstone builder or even novice builders would be appreciated, my skype is iskillz1 and I will be online quite often. also I will host a server to work on.

hmm? server should be up i turned it back on like 35 hrs ago.. might be a problem with it tho ill check to make sure its working.

EDIT-- just checked the port forward on my router and it was messed up which was the problem im assuming, should be fixed now however.
(updated router thats why I messed it up xD)

Sounds interesting. Do you know boolean algebra? And what have you built so far?

I do not know boolean algebra sorry, and what I've built with redstone is mostly just copies of things I have done copy of someones elevator, lighthouse, etc.

Sounds fun. If you want me to help you, I'll first teach you all the basics of boolean algebra and the different logic gates/registers/flip-flops/whatever. Then we'll start building things.
