Lednice Chateau
The Lednice chateau is one of the most important manifestations of high romanticism in the Czech Republic in south Moravia. In December 1996 it was put on the UNESCO World Hertage List with the entire Lednice-Valtice area.
Estate was acquired by the Liechtensteins in 1249 and belonged to them for almost 700years.
The Chateau acquired its present appearance during an extensive reconstruction from the middle of the 19th century in a style imitating English Turdor Gothic.
