Steve needed to create a realistic way of reaching the creatures, so he built a rocket, but not any rocket. He needed one that would blast him into deep space that was faster than light. He built a multi-stage rocket that can accelerate him to the needed speed to reach these aliens before lunch, not a lifetime. He built himself an intense redstone rocket and a lunch dispenser. Putting his lunch into his pocket, he fueled the rocket and blasted himself into space. The final stage of the rocket accelerates him faster than the speed of light reaching the aliens in about 10 seconds.
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, EpicATrain's rocket. This is the 3rd version I've built in the last 2 weeks. I've completely torn down and rebuilt this rocket (everything) 3 times because I just wasn't happy with what I created. (I'm seriously thinking of making a rocket building tutorial since I've done this so many times). I put great detail in this rocket and tower and here's the best part - it actually launches people into space! I discovered a way of using redstone and TNTcarts to launch people deep into space (3300+ blocks into the sky). I will be allowing players and administrators to download this rocket and put it on their servers to enjoy. This thing is a LOT of fun and players absolutely love this rocket. Administrators can control and adjust the trust and resources this thing uses.

Once in the server, type: /server rocketworld
PlanetMinecraft Judges: Please DO NOT USE BUKKIT! I found out during testing that bukkit breaks the launch mechanism and prevents the launching of players. I've tried to find ways of getting around this but I have had no luck. Please, use only vanilla servers and/or singleplayer to test/judge this map so you can enjoy the rocket to its full potential. Without block protection, you will only have 1 chance of launching. Do not disable explosions (which is what this rocket uses to launch).

I've watched Epic as he's developed the redstone launch circuitry through trial and error spending hundreds of hours. His build is amazing and incorporates his redstone wizardry to make something that is truly interactive and out of this world! I hope you're able to come visit our server to see his creation in action with various plugin safeguards that allow players to launch again and again! I hope everyone will appreciate the time and energy that went into this particular submission!
