L'Hôtel Économique

Welcome to L'Hôtel Économique, where things are... uh... a bit less than shiny.

L'Hôtel Économique (or The Cheapo Hotel) was once intended to be a nice business hotel in the mid '70s, but time and urban decay have taken its toll and turned it into a 1 1/2 star hotel, wedged between an older house and a semi abandoned '60s apartment.

From the start, the hotel looked like it was going to fail - the unsafe location, the poor stair placement, the weird ever-present smell. Surprisingly enough, it took nearly 15 years before it fell and went under new ownership - a slumlord. To this day, the locals jokingly refer to the hotel as "Le Motel."
