Here I have a stretegical desert base that I made for sieges. There is soon to be a video about it, but I would like to have my friends siege it first for another video so they don't know what they're getting into.

It's really a great base, though, and the goal is to stall for time mainly. Try to pick off enemies early if you can, with strong, focused attacks, and then as soon as they get close enough for you to get nervous, retreat up the stairs.

There is a button on the right side of that staircase. It activates some lava to flood the bottom floor and the stairway. If you plan on running more, do that and continue up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, hope that no one is close enough to see this, and jump back over them to the ledge, and keep going up the ladder.

After all that, you should have bought yourself enough time to find a spot on the top floor to take out anyone left. There are three spots in particular that you should play.
         The first one is to go through the narrow hall on the side of the floor to get to some parkour, over the floors below to catch the enemies slip or knock them off. You should probably only use this one if they're really close.
         Second, you could make your way climbing up to the very top to pick your spot there and wait to sneak out and fight them head on. Use this one if you're not going to play the fall damage.
         The third one is the one I'm going to use, and in my opinion is the best option, especially with a knockback-enchanted weapon. Follow the pink carpet right off  the end to the ledge below it. This is where the enemies will most likely fall first. Turn around and walk back into the hole to just crouch and wait for them to drop down. They'll be damages a bit from the fall anyways, and you get to send them flying off the top floor anf onto the runway below, where they will promptly die by a crushing fall.

Everything else is designed to give you time ahead of them, so play your fall damage right when you get settled and crouch! Hope you enjoy enough to leave me any feedback or change suggestions! Thanks!
