On the same server as my other project has risen a demand to build a lighthouse. This light house is a first of a series of water based builds I will be doing with a dock being the next one. It is made of quartz with an alternating swirl of red stained clay and redstone blocks (Some had to be moved). This light house contains the living quarters that a light house keeper could ever need with a kitchen, a bedroom and a storage room. The "lightbulb" is light up with the power of lava and surrounded by white glass that ties in with the quartz. Some help from Watch_Dogs lighthouse (I had to swim 4 km to get to the island)
