This is the lighthouse featured in my 'Enderville' map. Inside is a redstone powered minecart rail system that will bring the user up and down the building in a flash. Otherwise the design is fairly simple.

This was intended as a landmark to be seen from a distance and show up well on a map. No custom blocks are used, and the inner workings of the redstone rail are hidden to keep it looking nice.
