Lockheed C5 Super Galaxy 3 : 1

Hello all Minecraft builders,

Last year I visited the US and saw during taxiing some military cargo planes, three Boeing C17 Globe Masters.

In Minecraft I was already building planes for several years, see my other post, and had also been thinking about making a military (cargo) plane. Not knowing those sometimes also are at civilian airport.

Once I found the massive C5 Super Galaxy with its' weird landing gear. A nice challenge to build!

During the making of the plane I made several times a photo, of my television. I use Minecraft at my Playstation 4.

For people who would like to learn how to build an airplane in Minecraft:

1. Look for a dimensional drawing of the airplane.
2. Determine which scale you would like to build the plane.
3. Use a block for setting out the height of the cockpit / fuselage.
4. Build the cockpit.
5. Set out the position of the engines and wing.
6. Build the fuselage and tail.
7. Fill up the wing. Use diagonal lines.
8. Build / clone the other wing.
9. Add text, decalls, etcetera.

Search at the internet for details during building.

I built scale 3 : 1, which means 3 blocks is 1 meter (metric).
So I calculated the dimensioal drawing imperial dimensions (feet and inch) to metric (meter), followed by x3.
