Log Cabin

Hey There!

After a long break from Minecraft, I wanted to challenge myself with a new mini-series where I build houses for each biome that this game has to offer! Doing research, taking inspiration from how different cultures adapt housing depending on their terrain in real life, and, of course, adding a bit of my own touch to each one!



Here we have the log cabin, going for an A-frame style that reaches all the way to the ground! I also wanted to grab inspiration from Greenlandic architecture, with some colouring with a mixture of prismarine, warped wood, and copper blocks, and of course, adding classic additions such as a chimney and small, cramped living quarters with a big window looking out to the snowy forest/plains!
