This was always my favorite project. Most of London in this map is based in around the Westminster / south bank / southwark areas. It is as accurate as i can make it. Further updates will add new areas of London. This is defiantly my most ambitious project yet. Although the title used to state it as a 1:1 it really was, but then when i started to build up Victoria embankment i realized that a 1:1 creation would be impossible. remember this is only a work in progress as the only districts that have been started upon are Westminster and parts of the south-bank. although I could include other parts like the financial district and other iconic parts of London. If you want to those first however feel free to SUBSCRIBE. And anyway i hope you enjoy :)BTW remember its only about 50% finished.

This is the worst London replica I've ever seen. My recommendations:

- Make Big Ben shorter to match proportions.
- Don't use trashy texture packs. When I use the default minecraft texture I see that most of the place is either wool or iron or even clay.
- Make Tower Bridge taller to match proportions, and the City Hall? Where is it?

This was published in Beta 1.8, so give him some slack. By published in Beta 1.8, I mean Beta 1.8 had came out two days ago (September 15th 2011), so this build was made in Beta 1.7.3; yes, before creative mode was added. You heard that right, this was built in survival mode. (Blocks were obviously spawned in, though, but he couldn't even fly unless he had the SinglePlayerCommands mod.)
It was last updated in Release 1.1 - which added superflat and spawn eggs. This was the last update before the new high limit, so he couldn't have made the Tower Bridge taller.
Stained Clay didn't exist yet, so back then everyone had to use wool or other materials that may not have fit.
Just know that it was good for its time, but don't expect any updates because they've most likely moved on from Minecraft.
TL;DR, look at the upload date before commenting (especially about updates).
