What's up guys!?
Basically I lent my Sherlock DVDs (yes I have the DVDs, I'm not a pirate like you :P ) and I just recently got them back. I was thinking what a nice building 221B is, and how there are so many old and pretty buildings in the UK. So I was like: "Whatever, I haven't done a big build in a while, may as well build a london apartment block."
So that's how this project came into being, and I'm acctually quite happy with it, especially the outside; I think it's got some really nice arcitecture :)
This project includes: ground floor landing; disco in the basement (I thought it was a bit more interesting than a coal cellar; store room; coal storage; 1st floor apartment with hallway, kitchen, bedroom, toilet and study; landlord's room with bathroom; 2nd floor apartment with a more modern design, open plan kitchen, bedroom and dining room, lounge area, and bathroom. Outside the house it also has a road, car, dumpster and plie of horse cr*p.
For this build I was going for the kinda shabby, 60's look that turns your stomach and makes your spine tingle with hatred at the person who designed chekered lino floors, but also an aspect of modern arcitecture, like in the upstairs rooms. I also tried to put quite alot of detail into this project, and I'm really proud of the result!
