There is a huge variety of different types of stone which u could use to add interest to the exterior. Also don't fall into the diamond block trap as diamonds aren't that great for building.

no problem i wish people liked my stuff as much as your
but if i had to say i would use mcedit and give that to people to
make it more cooler
