This is a small map made into super mario 64 using frauber/messiaen64's importer
very incomplete and bugy in some parts
also, I didnt get the proper textures for beta, so I got some alpha textures instead

This is a mod, and a good one at that, but don't call it a hack. hacking is something totally different.
this is definitively a "rom hack"
if you actually throught this was actually some mod to have mario as a playable character in minecraft, then youre tottaly wrong
ive never seen anyone who called a "rom hack" a "mod" yet.
hack is when you replace something in the game, and mod adds stuff in it
since I replaced one of the levels and backgrounds, it means I hacked it
a "Rom hack" as you called it, is called a mod. Replacing things in the game, as you called a hack, is MODIFYING those classes. Hence, MOD.
Changing and adding classes to any game on your Rom is a mod. Period.
Now hacking, if you are interested, is the forced entry and/or modification of OTHER computers and other machines. Hacking is VERY illegal. Modding, is not.
This is a mod. Not a hack.
However, I realize what you did here, by implementing the Mario 64 coding into a Minecraft world. Very clever, good job! xD
also thanks for the coment...
noone says "modding your rom" because its not correct
modding DOES have something to do with rom hacking but its not the correct way of saying it
also, this hack here in particular FORCES the game to take a new level moddel as well as new position coordinates and mor usable objects, and that is hacking
I just sorta copy/pasted it to the other trees, it looks dumb
