Anyone here a fan of the mass effect series? When I first started minecraft, I had just finished the mass effect series, and really loved the game. I spent hours searching for a mass effect server, but had no luck in finding one much to my disappointment. Now, 6 months later, and about 6 more playthroughs of the entire game. I decided to start work on my own project. A large, complete. fully accurate mass effect roleplay experience.

I've spent large amounts of my time playing the games, and looking up the fluff behind them, I love the whole roleplay theme of the game, combined with the combat element. Providing a fully complete game in contrast to the myriad of bland shoot-em-ups on the market.

I wish to create a fully accurate role-play server based entirely upon the game. With a complex ranking system involving different classes and species, with each rank starting at level 1, going up to rank 4, then rank 5, a character from the series who is part of the given species, each rank would have its own commands, getting progressively better as they go along. The role-play would be played in the worlds of the series, with most of the interaction based upon the Citadel and Omega, in my opinion, the 2 main worlds of the series.

Quests within the game would replicate the assignments of the games, with players carrying out a series of objectives mirroring the actual assignments in mass effect. All the ingame characters have been replicated as NPCs, such as the Mercenaries on Omega.

The main idea, is that you could fully integrate yourself into the world of mass effect. The actual games only allow you to RP to an extent, but you have to follow the in-game story line with the reapers. But in this server, you can venture across all the worlds, buy housing, get a job, and pave your own journey through the universe.

Recruitment:

I will need help with this project, I am mainly looking for a few builders and developers.

Builders criteria:
- Have to be able to build a replica of the citadel presidium, to a certain degree of accuracy. Not tall the shops, just the outline of it so I can build the interactive areas.

Developers criteria:
- Need to be efficient in java code

I wish to create a working "Paragon/Renegade" plugin, based on karma, where the player accumulates paragon/renegade points from in-game decisions, such as PvP kills, business choices, and quest completion.
