This is basically going to be my ongoing project for as long as I am building stuff. The city's name "Kismet" is a word that means fate and fortune. I started this city alongside a river, as many real cities began. There is no limit to how big this city will ge. I am trying to make this similar to a city in the real world, without all the unnecessary parts for minecraft such as parking lots, cars, and such. If you have any suggestions/comments PLEASE do so.

Update #22 : by mastermike 08/01/2012 2:37:28 pmAug 1st, 2012
Sorry everyone for the times with no updates. I have been in Colorado at the National Law Enforcement Conference and in Kansas City seeing relatives. I have still been slowly building the city, random parts at a time. I recently built a small memorial type park area near the downtown area just out of fun.
I will probably change the pictures in the slides now because there is so much more not pictures in it. I will also post the link to an album with 100 or so screenshots of most of the city. I have built several neighborhoods with 20-30 large houses (10+ rooms, swimming pools, decks, yards) and even a few houses with large grounds. I have also built a small riverfront area with several of KC's tallest buildings, including the tallest multi-towered cylindrical type building I made. I am still in the process of finishing several of the shopping and entertainment districts before i feel satisfied with them.'
After finishing all of the shopping/entertainment areas I am going to begin building the city outwards. this is where I plan to begin all of the neighborhoods/suburban areas that will make it a sprawling city. After several years I am still stuck in the downtown area, and the downtown area will continue to grow at least along the river with more skyscrapers/downtownish areas and across the river when I decide to start the other half of the downtown.
Here are the screenshots! Enjoy and thank you.
