Thank you for downloading my map! I put in a lot of work into making custom terrain and building each building from scratch. Everything built in version 1 of Matadora was built by str8Trash. Every single build can be found on my YouTube channel linked below.
Important info for download!
1.You MUST have Java Edition 1.20 for Minecraft or the download will not work! -Sorry Bedrock users. Maybe one day!
2. In order for things in the map to look right, you'll need to download the Greenfield Texture pack. Make sure you download the pack that fits the version of Minecraft you are running. Drag and drop the pack file into your .minecraft folder and in the resource packs folder.

About Matadora Island
I've always wanted to build a giant city in Minecraft. I spent 7 years building my previous city, Rollinsburg. The old city was cool and all, But it felt cold and empty. I wanted a new map that felt alive and in a very tropical setting. In November 2022, I started drafting up a new map in world painter trying to figure out what the new map should look like. Matadora Island was the result. The map was officially exported to Minecraft in December 2022. The type of atmosphere I'm going for with this city is that resembling Miami FL. Big tall luxury condo towers with premium ocean views and white sandy beaches. Everything in this map has been meticulously built to reflect a very tropical landscape and feel scaled properly to the Minecraft character.
