Maxim's Island Megabuild

Hello Guys,

this started as my online server in early 2012 and has been my playground ever since,
This map originally featured 3 Citys but as more isnt always better, i deleted them all.

For me, Minecraft ist about nature as well as about building, so i wanted to create a unique map that featured a stunning country side with farms as well as a big city packed with modern architecture and, listen up, thousands of fully furnished and fully accessible apartments.

The Island measures roughly 2400 x 1800 blocks, it features a modern city with fully accessible buildings such as apartments, cinemas, schools, shops, restaurants and bars plus a huge landscape filled with farms, vineyards, a nature reserve, campgrounds and forests,

Some structures and buildings are schematics from planetminecraft. I am not happy with most of them as many buildings have no interior so i will probably replace them with my own work as soon as the rest of the map is done.

I am currently working on the last city district featuring a golf course, a large beach and plenty of housing. Besides that, there are many trees to plant and many projects to finish so it might take a while, i hope for some feedback from you tho :)
