Hey Planetminecraft,
Hope you're doing well!
Here is my third upload to the site, it is another medieval themed build.
The video is made by yours truly: BreakForthStudios (bf for short) and he has done a terrific job as he did with my last project. Check him out at: www.youtube.com/user/BreakForthStudios?feature=watch
This time I made an Apothecary (potion shop) :D. A very symmetrical design however on the diagonal axis. The reference picture I based it off of was just a starting point and I enjoyed making a brewing/watch tower at the back and generally expanding the first floor.
I really like the X shape of the roof in this one and liked decorating the interior completely as you will find in the downloads. I was surprised how much room was left inside this building and filling up every corner took a while, but here it is! The map looks best with the John Smith texture pack but works equally as well with default!
As with my last projects, I liked making an environment (for presentation) around the build and this one I even used a little bit of world painter. It turned out exactly the way I wanted, with two mountains sheltering each side of the Apothecary and a well lit walkway/stairway that I think turned out better than expected.
Anyways tell me what you guys think! As always feel free to diamond and download the build or schematic into your maps. The map file has the environment as well as the building but the schematic only has the building for your own placement. If used, don't forget to credit! =]
As with my last two posts. If anyone needs a picture-to-minecraft build I will be willing to work on it if a reference picture and some credit is provided.
Thanks All!
