This project will be part of series of version of the same map depicted over prolonged intervals. While the basic idea is a realistic medieval village over time, deviations will probably occur.

Welcome to the village of Caitlin! Its a small village on the coastline consisting of a forest, large field, and the lords manor home. Just off the coast is a small island with a relatively small castle on it. Though the village is tiny now with a low population, expect it to grow in future years as it becomes a town

Twenty Years have now past since last we visited Caitlin, and already the town is growing. New homes have been built and even a small sawmill is being built just outside of the village. Due to the increased taxation and a growing threat of attack from across the sea, improvements have been ordered on the battlements of the castle.

Next time we visit, will be 10 years later and since then much will have changed.
