Concept & Explanation:
Main idea came out from the word 'Melograno', pomegranate tree in Italian; the fruit has always been a source of allegory on Italian art, representing something of divine in the Christian religion. Artists such as Sandro Botticielli, Leonardo da Vinci and Carlo Crivelli used to bring the pomegranate on their religious paintings. In this build, the fruit gains the meaning of the blood falling on the water, something that hurts you and won't stop easily.
The creature represent your soul, crying for your sins and mistakes, waiting for the time when she will be alone; without any affection and a way to repair the damage done. The entire part of structures is inspirated from Square Enix games like Final Fantasy (In particular FF3 and FF14), following references around the game series, but it also means a personal sin of mine. The entire scene is based on FF10 Macalania Woods, but with a twist.
Made in 7 days, a bit rushed. I just wanted to do something for fun, evading from boring/sad days.
