Merced Falls

Do you remember what your first world in Minecraft looked like? How proud you were of your first building?
When you were just Steve?
Well, I do. My Minecraft journey started about 3 years ago in a world I called Merced Falls. After trying to get some food and living in a cave which I excavated with my hands, I wanted something bigger and more impressive: A castle.
And my dream came true, I started a cobblestone mine and used it to build towers, walls and a palace.
I was so happy, that I occasionally visited my old world.
But now, three years in which I constantly improved my building skills, I looked at it and thought: "What ugly thing have I created back in those days?"
It was time to remake my world.

I have a lot of ideas for the new version of Merced Falls, so it might be a mammoth project.
The new fantasy-like castle is built by now, but I also want to create a little surrounding town, a harbour, ruins and dungeons in the world and most important: A vast underground area which will be connected to the castle.
When I got a bit rid of the castle and been eager to adventures in the past I traveled through the world and created a modern villa on a snowy hill and stopped in a desert village, where again, I built my own house. I would really like to remake those, too.
(And make sure that all my little secrets are safe from you..hehe..)
Since I'm too lazy to install mods like WorlEdit right now and I appreciate details, this map will be done purely by hand.
