I found the clasic mesa style bit boring so I tryed to make some inovations there and here you can see the resault.


This is not a perfect playable awesome map or something, it is just a new concept.

Well, I can see 2 styles that take up one half. Those styles look as if the colors from the ground/cliffs have been switched. I think they would look good meshed into each other (aka the biome would be partially one of the styles, and partially the other) in a large, mountainous desert island, with some palm trees and oases dotting the landscape (maybe even some tipis and cacti instead if you're into the American desert type).

I used skymap which had effects like this already and then I set the lighting in the way that looks natural.
