I found the clasic mesa style bit boring so I tryed to make some inovations there and here you can see the resault.

This is not a perfect playable awesome map or something, it is just a new concept.

Thank you for feeding my eyes with this lovely terraforming! ;D

I was feeling a bit peckish…
The default-styled mesas would look good mixed together.

How do you mean?
Well, I can see 2 styles that take up one half. Those styles look as if the colors from the ground/cliffs have been switched. I think they would look good meshed into each other (aka the biome would be partially one of the styles, and partially the other) in a large, mountainous desert island, with some palm trees and oases dotting the landscape (maybe even some tipis and cacti instead if you're into the American desert type).

I'm very curious, how did you make the renders go all sun lines and such, with that foggy way? Awesome, btw!

I used skymap which had effects like this already and then I set the lighting in the way that looks natural.

Quite nice variations in mesa styles. Maybe work on the "biome" change line to make it less sudden.

As I sayd in the description, this is not some awesome map or something, it is just a showcase of diferent mesa styles, you are right that I could make way better biome edges, but that was not the purpose.

Well done Padvender!
It would be nice if minecraft biomes were like this.....
Hey, i think this build is really cool! Can you give me some good tips about layering different blocks in landscapes or an efficient way to make those layers? I would greatly appreciate it!

You can create your own patern of layers in WorldPainter
Yeah, that's kinda basic stuff, but how did you make it so the layers are rugged? Because if i make them in layers in Worldpainter the layers are 100% flat
