A ZIP pack of three fully-functional, realistically- scaled replicas of the Messerschmitt 262 Schwalbe and variants.
The Me 262 was the world's first operational jet-powered combat aircraft, made by Nazi Germany during the closing stages of World War II, in 1944. At the time of its introduction, it was the fastest single-seat fighter in operation, carrying 4 30mm autocannons in its nose. It was used mostly as an interceptor against heavy allied bombers to menacing effect, while being extremely difficult to be intercepted itself.
Due to its advent of being the very first jet fighter, the Me 262 was the subject of high-speed aircraft research. During its time, two additional variants were developed; the HG.II and the HG.III variants, with the aim of increasing the aircraft's maximum speed and performance.
The HG.II version decreased the aircraft's resistance by moving the engines closer to the main body, and used a redesigned wing structure. It existed only as a pre-production test model.
The HG.III version was a further development of the HG.II, having a sharper forward sweep in its wing design, and using a V-tail. It existed only in blueprints.
All three versions of this aircraft are contained in the attatched ZIP file.
Note: Dispensers and Stair blocks may rotate incorrectly if the schematic is rotated or mirrored.
Place on runways or in mid air for best effect.
