A tribute to one of the greatest series in video game history. This
Minecraft adventure map is based on the island of Shadow Moses from
Metal Gear Solid on PSX (1998).

 I would like to throw out thanks to Radec who built the Metal Gear Rex and HIND. The Rex model actually inspired the build for my MGS:Shadow Moses adventure map. All other parts of the build are solely by me, Reichenstein7

Notes

***The map is a slightly bigger scale than the Minecraft character to show better detail.
*** Please read the instructions for the launcher before use.
*** I will add updates as they come, This project is currently on v1.2 for Minecraft 1.7.9

System Requirements

This custom launcher will only work with Microsoft Windows operating Systems.

Launcher:
Java 32 or 64 bit
2Gb of ram allocated for the Minecraft_Server.exe

Map:
500 Mb free Hard Drive space (Uncompressed)

Here is how to get to and install the map files without the launcher:

Extract the the .Zip file and open the containing folder.
Open the "MGS Shadow Moses Island for Minecraft" folder.
Copy the "world_master" folder to " %appdata%\.minecraft\saves ".
Open your Minecraft client and go to Single Player.
You will now see "MGS:Shadow Moses" under your world saves.

Where is the
co-ordinates for the insertion point? My save always loads me in the hangar. an I cant seem to find it please help...…...

Hey, downloaded the world and tried running the launcher under a myriad of presets, but they all crashed - what gives?

OS: Windows 8.1 64-Bit
RAM: 16 GB
VIDEO: NVidia GeForce GTX 765 M
CPU: Intel Inside Core i7

I have not updated the Launcher for v1.8 yet. You can however, extract just the map with the instructions of this page.
I will fix this problem as soon as I can.

I don't know what you mean? I'm running my Minecraft under 1.7.10, why wouldn't the launcher at least open normally? I also tried downloading the Adventure Map Launcher standalone from your website and got the same result. I just want to understand why it crashes when 1.7 used the same Minecraft Launcher as 1.8.

I will update the Launcher to 1.8 after a LAN bug is fixed in the 1.8 Minecraft Server that is currently blocking me.
