NOTE: [Do not forget to use "/gamerule doTileDrops false" and "/gamerule commandBlockOutput false"]

This fancy version of a minecart elevator, is butter smooth, silent, and very versatile. Add as many floors as you want, as far apart as you want, with just a press of a button!
To get started: Place the "elevator brain" schematic in your spawn chunks of your world. Then place the "elevator base*" schematic where you want the bottom floor. * The "elevator base..." schematics are rotated in the direction you would face to enter the elevator.
In the back of each elevator base, is a commandblock under a button, changing the "#" to the distance from the ground to the next level and pressing the button, will add another elevator base above, or even below.
Now you have all you need to start riding the elevator, and enjoy your ascent to the next level. :D
