Sterling - A gigantic world introduction
Its a very long time ago in october 2011.
I started my first singleplayer map to create cities, lots of adventures, buildings, parks, villages and much more ...
Now I have finished the map as a real big adventure for you. Sterling is a state in Minecraft!
You can discover great places and beautiful landscapes.
Of course there are so many city projects and lots of them looks very nice, but this is no city with
empty buildings! Like in The Elder Scrolls, you can read lots of books written by the people of Sterling and Pacifica
to learn all about their story. They write about their life, scerets they found and about Sterling itself.
Buildings, signs and places belong together.
Sterling is a gigantic world, because the buildings have a full interior and the city its own story!
About the Map the story
Sterling is a state in this Minecraft world. Its a very large area with so many places where you can be.
The most exciting area is Sterling's city Pacifica and it's districts Harbor/Hennety Bay and Havilland,
Covington Village is an old town in the south of the map in the midst of Sterling's landscape.
The Conzept what makes the map
-> Each building/construction has its own construction number. There are over a hundred of buildings.
So if you want to visit one, you can go to the Pacifica Hall (marked on the great map).
All buildings are listed in the construction register.
-> an own story with lots of books written by the people of this world
-> street names (at livings Garden, at Balmoral Ave...)
-> large railroad system allows you to reach every place in Sterling.
-> all buildings and structures are furnished with their own design.
-> lots of redstone lighting and systems.
-> you can find lots of companies in Sterling which have their own office or headquarters.
-> a working canalization in Pacifica
-> one big difference is that the city is not built on flat land, the complete landscape was considered. Its relaistic.
-> So many Incredible details. The map is completely in English!
-> secret underground stations (search for them
)
-> Since 2011 so you get a high quality project, thats why updates needs a bit longer.
Small overview about places
> Sterling Center
The tallest structure in Pacifica. An amazing complex of 2 huge towers,
45 stories high soaring 215 blocks into the clouds and surrounded by low level
buildings in a beatiful area.
In Sterling Center Building 3 you can find the Company & Trade Register where you can get
informations about companies and their headquarters and offices.
> Pacifica Hennety Bay (District)
A district of the city Pacifica. If you like a small villa or house with friendly neighbours you can visit Hennety Bay.
Or if you want to buy anything visit the mall.
> Pacifica Harbor (District)
The first and oldest district when Pacifica was founded. It contains old buildings and electrical street lights.
> Pacifica Havilland (District)
Most of Havilland is now finished with over 40 new skyscrappers with interior and electric lighting.
The latest Release IV contains this new district.
> Station 0-4
There are several secret underground structures in Sterling. Each one is hard to find.
Laboratory, treasures, bunkers, catacombs. You find lots of books in Sterling. People from the city
write about what they found, maybe about a secret entrance. But be careful with unknown redstone systems.
There can be a switch behind a bookshelf which flood the whole station with water.
> Cape Lytton Island
A small island in Leviathan Sea with small buildings and a radio station.
> Tigerland Military Camp
A military camp named by the movie Tigerland with Colin Farrell. Its a training area for the armed forces in Sterling.
> Donovan Paceman Opera
A highly modern building complex as big as the whole district Pacifica Harbor. Over 220 individually furnished
rooms and a theatre area.
> Sterling Main Station
Owner is the Sterling Railroad Company which managed the whole transportation in this world.
In the middle of the Map, the first building, the main station is built in the underground and connect all districts
of the city and the surrounding contryside. You can reach all important regions by the train!
> Companies
Sterling and its city is real with real companies which were found in this world. They have their own headquarters and
you can find advertising in the city.
