Minecraft Desert City

Welcome to Las Baja, a medium sized, hand built desert city in minecraft! it is a fictional city located in Mexico, it is connected to my other fictional city which will be showcased in another post.

Las Baja has approximately 394 buildings, working on each to have their own interior and took under 2 months to build. I aim to keep all buildings consistent with a bit of variety in their shape so there may be a bit of repetitiveness with the smaller buildings however each interior is hand made to ensure they are unique.

It consists of 5 districts shown in order of the screenshots above;

Forbidden Coast District
South Baja
North Baja
Northern Junction
Western Junction

The name for the city is taken from Las Vegas and Baja California.

It features a metro station underneath the city that leads to Mexico City which has over 730 buildings, taking under 3 months to build.

Every interior is unique, featuring standard residential housing, libraries, shops, police station, jail, casino, church, a fountain at the center of the city, the pyramid of baja which includes loot rooms similar to the desert temple.

Everything has been hand placed with limited use of worldedit, or any building mods, I also kept the terrain as to the vanilla generation as possible.

When the full world download is available, there will be over 1510 buildings to explore each with their own unique interior to make the cities feel alive.
