The wool is smoother so it looks like it is solid instead of separate blocks and one of the sandstone is a symbol. The iron bars are a variant of the normal John Smith bars and bricks and nether bricks have a more noticeable difference instead of being the same. You don't have to use it but it looks best in that pack. Most of the other textures in it are of the JohnSmith pack so the credit goes to them.
