More than a whole day's ride into the moor from the outskirts town of Brinkmoor (Soon to be uploaded!), and the empire's borders, rests Miremoor Outwork.Built up on one of the jagged rocks that scar the soggy and dreary landscape, its mission is to stand watch over the uncharted. This outwork was built simply to watch for danger and report any activity from outside the borders as many strange tales are said to originate from the moors. This wariness is only further intensified because ofthe strange thin spindly trees dotting the landscape andthe complete lack of larger animal life within the moor. There are even stranger reports of strange movements in the water pools when there simply isn't enough water in that pool even for small fish.
During the first couple nights of construction of the outwork there were very strange sounds heard all around the work and camp site during the night and evening, always moving or just out of view to be observed. Several of the workers simply disappeared during those first few nights. Later on it was discovered that light seemed to push the sounds further back away from the light source. Immediatelyafter this discovery modifications were made to the outwork to include many lanterns and sources of light. The sounds can still be heard; just further away, but still close enough to beunsettling. Upon completion of the outwork sightings at night of dark shapes moving in the distance became common. A lot of effort has been put into trying to discover what is going on but not much progress has been made. Some say the noises are just the sounds of the water moving about due to some strange geologic activity, others say it's simply smaller nocturnal animals.
Many explorers have tried to chart the Miremoor, however the constant water flowing, draining, and resurfacing makes this nighimpossible. All current maps simply show the shear cliffs marking the abrupt start of the massive moor and then either completely end or show nothing but empty space for significant distances. Many have ventured further into the lands to discover places beyond but none have ever found the end or returned to provide their mappings. All have reported that the further they've traveled from the cliffs, the louder and more frequent the sounds have become.
The people stationed here are paid well and do so completely voluntarily simply because of the tales and implied danger associated with it's location. This outwork relies completely on the empire for their food and, in general, their ability to survive. Crops do not grow, animals disappear after a single night, the water is stale and stagnant, and there is nothing but dull and damp marsh all around. Every week a caravan isscheduledto arrive from Brinkmoor, it is not uncommon for that caravan to be late by days or to not even show up at all. But many merchants jump at the chance to deliver goods, not only for the obscene amount of gold they get from the empire in exchange, but also for the fame of being able to say they made the trip through the Miremoor.

You can view an album of the old version here. You can also still download the WesterosCraft version here.
Also, If there is enough demand, I'll make a modified survival version just like the Ramstone Frontier house.

I'd glad you like my builds! I don't often go on servers, but I do every once in a while. I'd probably drop by your server every now and then when I play! And sure, you can use my builds on your server, that's fine.
